About The Author

Andrew H. Baumann recently graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a degree in Physics. After working for Lockheed Martin for a year, he is now enrolled in Stanford University’s Ph.D. program in Materials Science and Engineering. He also has studied History at Oxford University. He originally hails from Wilmington, Delaware.

He has had a long time interest in politics though it remains, for the time being, only a hobby. Though he has Democratic leanings, he usually votes for the candidate as opposed to the party.

In addition to politics and science, he also finds interest in security studies, hockey, soccer and tennis as well as reading, playing chess and sleeping for long periods of time. This is his first book, though he intends to write a critical biography of the poet Edwin Arlington Robinson at some point in the (probably far) future.
